Headpins are small metal pins on which you string beads. This allows for a lot of variation. Headpins are perfect for turning any bead into a charm. So, spotted a beautiful bead? Attach it to your necklace, earring, bag charm, or keychain! With the techniques below, you'll be ready to create.

Techniques:
- The classic loop – String your bead onto the headpin. Cut 1cm above the bead with cutting pliers and bend the end into a round loop with round nose pliers. This way you create a charm that you can attach to an (open) jump ring or earring.
- The wire wrap – String your bead onto the headpin. Then grab the end of the headpin with your round nose pliers and make a rotating motion towards the bead. This wraps the headpin around the round nose pliers. This provides extra sturdiness and a cool look.
- Playful bending – String your bead onto the headpin. Hold the headpin 1 cm above the bead with the round nose pliers and bend your headpin around the round nose pliers to form a loop. Wrap the remaining piece of headpin between your newly formed loop and the bead. This gives your charm that playful look.
The beauty is: there is no right or wrong. With these three techniques, you can add your own twist to your design! Questions? Leave a comment, we'd love to help you ♥
